Block Monkeys?

My band has begun work on its ABSOLUTE FIRST demo EP.

No title yet, but for now it's an eponymous release. I intend on releasing a song or two on the AP, and I'll post the complete downloadable release on my Soundcloud account. For free, of course.

I have a song up that will appear on the EP already on Newgrounds, it's called Tomorrow In Bloom. It'll be rerecorded for the EP of course. So check it out! Think of it as a teaser to more songs to come! If you like it, like my band on Facebook. The reason there are so little fans are because I simply have chosen not to spread it to my friends since we haven't gigged or finished the EP yet, but for our potential fans who I know by neither face or name, like us on FB to keep updated!

It was pretty good. No offense but I don't fancy the vocals much. You used vocal effects (autotune I guess) a bit too much, and they don't really do much justice for you. And your electronics usage could improve. But Campion's Brag I must say, was excellent, almost worthy of purchase. A little shoegazy guitar riff added onto that would be plain orgasmic.

Thanks! Although the stuff here is mostly just my work, I only have two songs of my band up here, the aforementioned Tomorrow In Bloom and The Fan. The songs I have up on Soundcloud are just random pop music experiments.

Good stuff. I agree the vocals weren't THAT great, but I understand you don't have the fancy equipment. It actually sounds kinda cool like that though.

It's also good to see more good music come out of the Philippines. I'm not Filipino but I know a handful of Filipinos and they would love to hear this.

Thanks man. Yeah the Philippines is known for having a really great music scene, I mean just compare the high school bands here to most other struggling bands in the States!

On the topic of your Filipino friends, do they speak any Tagalog? Because the better Filipino bands write mostly in Tagalog.

Yeah most of them know some Tagalog, but the best speakers of it I know were born there obviously. I wouldn't mind listening to any Tagalog music even if I didn't understand, as long as it sounded good you know.

yeah seems like the music scene in Philippines is big. I'm half Chinese and it seems like Chinese aren't as good as singing as Filipinos, and most Asian people would admit that
